After such a lengthy hiatus, I finally can spare some time for blogging. This is a deserved repose, for I had to endure gruelling examinations for the past few weeks. Currently, I am only left with the MCQs to complete. YEAH! However, to say that the respite is deserved is to be mendacious. Frankly, I have been surfing the Internet and watching Youtube videos instead of studying with the appropriate assiduity. If I were to perform below expectations, it would verily be my desserts.
Despite this being something that I should feel guilty about, I actually feel that the time spent was worthwhile. By happenstance, I came upon few of the the videos of the TV programme Live from Abbey Road on Youtube. I remember this programme being aired on the now-defunct Arts Central some time back. Due to its nocturnal timing, I could not catch it.
Abbey Road Studio, having the luxury of housing many legendary bands like the Beatles, Oasis and Muse, is the venue of this programme. To match the larger-than-life predecessors that have graced the Studio, only the best musicians are chosen for the programme. True enough, I was not disappointed. In fact, I was particularly impressed by one group. Lisa Hannigan and Damien Rice.
They both had played and sang in the same band once before but due to some reason each went their own ways. They are a great pair together. Rice's vocals has that rough edge that is oozing with emotion and really tugs at your heartstrings while Hannigan's voice is soothing yet has a subtle poignancy. I would say they both complement each other really well.
Anyway, a picture says a thousand words. What is more a video ( which is a moving picture). Embedded below are in order - Rootless Tree, 9 crimes and Blower's Daughter. Enjoy.

Blog on Vacation
Hi,
Important examinations coming up, so there will be no posts for some time.
Anyway, it is not as if anybody cares. This blog is not that popular. I post this to tell myself my liking for blogging is not yet dead.
