Before Barack Obama became the President of U.S.A, I had been ignorant of the atrocities that occured at Gitmo. The detainees were subjected to the most inhumane and sordid coercion techniques I have ever seen. They were abashed, degraded and ridiculed again and again and again. The kind of physical and psychological damage inflicted upon them were inconceivable. To legitimise even more demeaning punishments, the U.S government asserted that the detainees were not entitled to any protection from the Geneva Conventions. Is not this a repeat of the Jaapanese Occupation's savagery? The horrors of Gitmo is indescribably wicked but the U.S government actually considered it a necessary evil. Honestly, I believe that Geroge Bush and the prison wardens at Gitmo are sociopaths and to illustrate my point, I have uploaded two videos.
